Open Wheel Mania at Five Flags Speedway

The open-wheeled set will be in action this Friday night at Five Flags Speedway when the United Sprint Car Series invades the fabled half-mile track on Pine Forest Road. Along with the winged Sprint Cars, the open-wheel Modifieds will make their only scheduled appearance of the 2007 regular season and Pro Motorcycle racing will return after a five-year absence. {nl}The USCS is the country’s only sanctioning body to conduct races on both asphalt and dirt ovals with winged Sprint Cars. The 1300 pound cars are fuel injected and burn alcohol to boost performance to over 700 horsepower.              […]
