VETERAN WINGED SPRINT DRIVER DAVID STEELE FATALLY INJURED IN CRASH AT DESOTO SPEEDWAY.

One of the most successful drivers in the history of open-wheel racing in the state of Florida died in a Sprint Car crash Saturday night at Desoto Speedway in Bradenton, Florida. Corbitt Moseley is proof that stock car racing isn’t just for the kiddos.
As a youth revolution continues to invade NASCAR and every level of racing, the 60-year-old Moseley just keeps winning at short tracks across the southeast.
But the Panama City driver had never won a feature at Five Flags Speedway in his 40-plus years of racing.

A milestone awaits Five Flags Speedway come December.

The nine-month march toward the historic 50th Annual Snowball Derby christens the dawn of the 2017 season with a special Sunday afternoon of racing at Pensacola’s high banks.

Opening Day, costing fans of all ages just $5 (free for kids 5 and under), is a chance at rebirth for drivers and teams.
