We want to offer congratulations some of our local talent that is making waves on a national level. Hunter Robbins who drives for Tracey Goodson won his first Hooters Pro Cup Race for Goodson Racing at Hickory Speedway in North Carolina.

John Hamner made his Hooter Pro Cup debut at Bristol driving the Panhandle Paving and Grading car of local favorite Donald Long.

Cale Gale sat on the pole for the NASCAR Nationwide series and followed that up with a 4th place finish. When being interviews by Speed51's Bob Dilner, Cale was quoted as saying he was almost as nervous as waiting to see if he got the pole at last years Snowball Derby in Pensacola Florida.
