Winged Warriors Return

The days are counting down to an event many area race fans have been waiting for since March. The return of the TBARA Winged Sprint Cars takes place this Friday and a stellar field of cars and drivers are just as anxiously awaiting another shot at Gulf Coast glory. Some 20 plus, winged warriors are expected, led by 2010 points leader Shane Butler. Also returning will be 5 Flags Speedway Track Record holder Brian Gingras, who eclipsed the old record in March with a lap of 13.885 seconds, nearly 130MPH average. Additionally, TBARA favorite Troy DeCaire will be after redemption from the March event, which found his purple #68 hard into the third turn wall.
