Five Flags Speedway

Sponsor Spotlight: Print Now Leaves Impression at Five Flags

Of the multitude of things Five Flags Speedway gets right, the Friday night fellowship is near the top of the list.

From the pits to the grandstands, from Bomber to Late Model drivers, from lifelong to novice fan, there’s a special camaraderie that oozes throughout America’s favorite home track.

It’s an attractive trait to small businesses, such as Print Now, the sponsor for this Friday’s 100-lap Blizzard Series race that will feature the likes of Chase Elliott, Bubba Pollard, Augie Grill and Kenzie Ruston, just to name a few.

“It’s a great little community when you get out there, said Kim Franklin, who co-owns Print Now with husband Doug and fellow partners John and Deborah Holland. “Everybody knows everybody. That’s what we need in a town like ours.

It has been such an infectious experience for the Franklins and Hollands, that the owners have been regulars at Five Flags for the last five years.

Doug Franklin has helped turn wrenches on a few cars. And the two families have participated in the chili cook-off the Wednesday of Snowball Derby week.

“We love racing, Kim Franklin said. “It’s always exciting to know somebody that you’re rooting for. Now I have a 3 year old (son, Hunter) and he loves going out there.

Fans will love going to the racetrack Friday night, especially those who arrive when the grandstand gates open at 5 p.m.

The first 1,000 people through the turnstiles will receive 3D glasses courtesy of Print Now.

The Print Now 100 is just one of the many attractions this week at the half-mile asphalt oval.

The Modifieds will bang doors in a 35 lapper while the Sportsmen and Bombers continue their respective seasons.

If those weren’t enough pyrotechnics to put sparkles in your eyes, actual fireworks will light up the night sky (that’s where the 3D glasses come in).

Admission to the grandstands is $15 Adults; $14 Seniors/Military; $12 Students; $5 Child (6-11); Under 6 is Free. Pit passes are $25.

It promises to be a dynamite night. One that reaffirms to Kim Franklin and her fellow Print Now owners why they’re so active out at Five Flags.

“We wouldn’t have spent our marketing dollars to do what we’re doing if there wasn’t a return on our investment, she said. “You go out there and sponsor and participate, they use you in return. Everybody needs printing.

Print Now covers all your printing needs from business cards to banners to T-shirts to other promotional items.

They’re shop recently has moved to 5555 N. Davis Hwy. in Pensacola. For more information, call 850-435-1149 or visit www.printnowinc.com.
