JOE HUFF PASSES

He warmly greeted drivers and crews for years at the top of the hill entering the pits at 5 Flags. Joe Huff always had a friendly hello and smile to all who wanted to get into the action in the pits.
Joe died on Wednesday at a local hospital while undergoing treatment for cancer. He was 64, and volunteered most of his adult life in the fire departments, first at Ensley, then Beulah. Joe was active over the years with the Beulah Sausage Festival. He retired from the International Paper Mill where we worked as a security guard.
Joe leaves behind his wife Charlotte, and 4 daughters. Friends may call on Saturday evening 5 to 8 at the Faith Chapel North Funeral Home in Cantonment. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm at Marcus Point Baptist Church on “W St.
