It ended with Ricky Johnson besting the field, followed by John Hunn of Saint Louis MO, and Sebastian Martin of Amite, LA finishing third.

The field thinned out with flat tires, overheated engines, a few bent fenders and broken parts.  It was the first enduro style grand prix event on a road course that featured

two sharp left turns, plus twists and turns thru the pits and back on the front stretch.
