Grant Enfinger, Crooks Racing Reunite for Snowball Derby
October 20, 2016 •
Crooks Racing is excited to announce that Grant Enfinger will be driving the No. 82 Port City car at the 2016 Snowball Derby. Enfinger piloted the No. 90 Crooks Racing machine in 2014, and had a top-five finish.
The 49th annual Snowball Derby will take place at the fast half-mile high-banked oval of Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL. The famed event brings multitudes of drivers from all over North America. The five day event will start November 28, with the race on December 4.
Growing up an hour away in Mobile, AL, Five Flags Speedway has always been a favorite race track to Enfinger.
"Te Snowball Derby is a special race that I circle on the calendar every year, Enfinger said. “I am excited to be able to get back down there in a Crooks Racing car. Crooks Racing has had a good bit of success lately and we had a good run at the Snowball the last time we were there together, so I am looking forward to picking up where we left off.
Crew Chief Gary Crooks is excited to team up with Enfinger for another run at the Tom Dawson Trophy.
“We are very excited to race again with Grant, Crooks stated. “We were strong at Five Flags two years ago him, and have learned a lot with our Port City race cars since. We can’t wait to see what we can do now with Grant behind the wheel.
