The Panhandle of Florida will take center stage on national television in 2018. For the first time, the Blizzard Series at Five Flags Speedway (FL) will have all four races air on network television. Five Flags Speedway and Speed51 TV are working together to have all four events air on a tape-delayed basis on MAVTV. The four events will be produced by Speed51 TV.

That’s where Pace driver Todd Jones found himself Sunday afternoon at Five Flags Speedway.
The racing gods shined brightly on Jones while Mother Nature delivered a picturesque Pensacola afternoon for the famed half-mile asphalt oval’s Opening Day.
Jones won the second of two 25-lap Faith Chapel Outlaw Stocks feature, not only after starting from the back of the field but after his No. 4 yellow machine inexplicably lost power.

Sarah Dority is enjoying her view near the mountaintop.
With the Five Flags Speedway season opener rapidly approaching this Sunday afternoon, just like last March, the 26-year-old Pensacola driver has her eyes squarely affixed on big dreams for 2018.
“If it wasn’t for effort and time, I wouldn’t be where I’m at right now,” Dority said. “Time. Effort. Blood, Sweat. Tears. And, most importantly, the support of this amazing racing community.”
She’s not the only one who has poured out their soul this week, making final adjustments before Sunday arrives.

designated areas close by for those who wish to have a smoke or vape break. Additionally, the
Turn 5 Tavern is not included in the Smoke Free areas, and there will be an area in the back of
the Spotter’s stand, where Spotter’s only can catch a smoke.
