2008 Meet the Drivers Night!
This Friday Night, FFS will host it's annual "Meet the Drivers Night" Sponsored by THE INSURANCE LAND. At the conclusion of Friday's Time Trials, all Race Cars in all Divisions will be lined up on the front straightaway, and the grandstand gate will be opened. This will allow the Race Fans to come down onto the racetrack and meet the drivers face to face. This event has been very popular in the past, with not only the Fans, but with the Race Teams as well. Drivers typically hand out autographed pictures, frisbees, koozies, flags, candy and the like. The cars will line up at approximately 7:15PM, and the Meet The Drivers session will last for 45 minutes. The Steel Drum Band will provide background entertainment, and "Snowball", the track mascot will be on hand entertaining the kids as well.
